Luckily we haven’t had any negative reviews ever – but do people actually trust those?

Naturally when someone goes into business, say your local plumber, they’d want to beef up their online profile and get a few friends and family members to post positive reviews. For that reason positive reviews should be always treated with suspicion.

On the other hand, you will always get unhappy people (even if they’re plain wrong in most cases) but just because they’re unhappy with a result, regardless that the bad result might very well be their own fault – they’d still want to blame anyone other than themselves. For that reason, the negative reviews may not be credible either.

What is the point then. Is the general public unaware of this unreliability and trusts the reviews?
